Hi, Everyone!
I’m coming to the end of a four-year writing journey. I accompanied my wife to a book writing workshop in Austin a year or so before Covid, and while there started my own writing project. It was a short book about my many years of adventures hiking in the Agua Fria National Monument/Perry Mesa area of central Arizona. I just completed the paperback version which will be available on Amazon.com in a day or two. The hardback version will follow a few days later. And the digital copy should be available by the end of the month. The printed version has about 244 pages and 125 or so photos.
In the meantime, if you want to occupy your time with some other FREE reading, feel free to read my prior posts to this blog. You’ll notice that they are also liberally sprinkled with my photographs.
Let me know what you think. I’d love some comments. Either about my blog or about the various versions of my book, Twenty Years of Exciting Exploration in the Perry Mesa Area, which, again, will be available on Amazon.com.
Congrats, Mike! I’m looking forward to seeing the digital version when it comes out.

Hi, Scott. It’s not perfect, but it IS out. Look on Amazon.com for books by Michael J. Hoogendyk. You are mentioned at one point.
